The short answer
One ticket won the Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 21 October 2026. It matched all six numbers in Round 2 and won £4,324,923.

How the jackpot got there
The jackpot had rolled over twice since the £12m Must Be Won rolled down on 10 October. It went back to £2 million for Wednesday 14 October, grew to about £3.46 million for Saturday 17 October and then to £4.32 million for the draw it was won in.
Seven £1 million winners in four draws
Matching 5 numbers plus the Bonus Ball wins a fixed £1 million, and it’s been coming up a lot. Here’s how many tickets have won it since the rolldown:
- Wednesday 14 October: 1 winner.
- Saturday 17 October: 1 winner.
- Wednesday 21 October: 2 winners, both in Round 1.
- Saturday 24 October: 3 winners, all in Round 2.
Who won?
We don’t know yet. The National Lottery only names winners who choose to go public, and plenty of big winners stay anonymous. Our guide on staying anonymous after a win explains how that works.
If you played on 21 October, check your ticket. You’ve got 180 days from the draw to claim, and big prizes need a phone call to the National Lottery first. Our guide on how to claim goes through it.
What happens next?
Nobody matched all six on Saturday 24 October, so the jackpot rolled over. The Round 1 numbers were 22, 47, 48, 49, 55 and 59, with Bonus Ball 13. The Round 2 numbers were 8, 9, 17, 18, 20 and 42, with Bonus Ball 11.
The jackpot for Wednesday 28 October is an estimated £2.8 million. Each £2 line plays in both rounds. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 45,057,474 per round, and the odds of winning £1 million are 1 in 7,509,579 per round. Our guide on the odds of winning the lottery explains what that means.
