How to check lottery results safely

Simple habits that make checking a paper or online ticket less confusing.

Start with the game and date

Make sure the game name and draw date on your ticket match the result page. A correct set of numbers from a different date is not a winning result.

Check main numbers and any bonus balls or Lucky Stars separately. Read slowly and mark each match once.

Keep a paper ticket undamaged and do not share photographs of its barcode. Confirm a possible win directly with the official operator.
